TAHC&H Advocacy
It is important that each TAHC&H member become involved at some level in contacting their elected official directly, as a constituent:
- Call or write on issues important to home care and hospice
- Participate in lobby days in Austin or Washington, DC
- Get to know your elected official on a personal level, becoming a resource on home care and hospice issues
In an effort to increase its political and legislative advocacy efforts on behalf of Texas home care agencies at both the state and federal levels...TAHC&H wants to identify persons involved in the industry who have or desire to develop ongoing relationships with state and federal legislators, preferably who actually live in their districts.
