Home Care Employee - Hurricane Relief Fund

About the fund

About the fund:
Help support displaced home care workers (attendants, nurses, therapists and social workers) affected by the devastating destruction in the wake of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. While home care agencies are finding ways to continue operations, thousands of home care agency employees continue to care for their patients even though they have suffered personally from the destruction caused by these Hurricanes.

The Texas Association for Home Care & Hospice (TAHC&H), the Home Care Association of Florida and the Homecare Association of Louisiana (HCLA) have partnered together to establish a 501(c)(3) super fund designed solely to provide financial relief to home care workers affected by natural disasters. With 2017 shaping up to be a historic year for natural disasters in many parts of the country, the TAHC&H, HCAF and HCLA will ensure all donations collected go to home care workers in FEMA-designated disaster counties who have suffered significant property damage or loss. As home care workers care for their patients, their industry is poised to care for them.

Please give today and help provide relief to home care workers trying to recover, get back to work and continue to care for patients under extraordinary circumstances.
